We love a good bargain. Especially when it comes to purchasing clothes and shoes. Below are a list of some of our favorite clothing retailers that offer a teacher discount when you bring your work ID.
Anne Taylor Loft - Teachers who present a valid teacher ID when they shop at an Ann Taylor LOFT store receive a 15% discount. Teachers can also sign up to receive special teacher-only offers in their inboxes by filling out a form on the site
Banana Republic - They offer a 15% teacher discount on full-priced items to customers who can show their valid educator ID.
J. Crew and J. Crew Factory - They offer a 15% discount on purchases to teachers when they bring in their school ID.
Madewell - One of our favorites, Madewell offers a 20% online discount to teachers who can create a free account and verify their credentials.
Zappos - One of the most well-known and loved websites for shoes for the whole family, Zappos offers a teacher discount. Military members, students, and teachers all receive 10% off their purchases on the website when they verify their eligibility. You must sign up for this perk yearly.
Books:
Most brick and mortar book stores offer teacher discounts, something that makes our teacher hearts happy. If you are in the market for some new books for your classroom, or for yourself, grab your teacher ID and head on over to the book store!
Barnes and Nobles - Teachers receive 20% off select purchases for educational purposes at Barnes & Noble and 25% off during Educator Appreciation Days.
Half Price Books - They offer a 10% in-store discount to librarians and teachers when you sign up for an Educator Discount Card.
Book Warehouse - They offer 15% off for their Educator’s Book Club.
Crafts & Organization:
Feeling crafty? Get ready for some major savings from these retailers.
JOANN Fabric - They offer a 15% teacher discount to those who sign up for the JOANN Teacher Rewards Program.
Michaels - Both your online and in-store purchases will be discounted if you are a teacher shopping at Michaels. They offer a 15% discount to U.S. teachers when they sign up for Michaels Rewards and verify using their educator ID.
The Container Store - This program is only going on for one more month, but the Container Store is offering discounts when you sign up for their Organized Teacher Discount Program.
Technology:
Apple - The Apple Store offers discounted rates (usually 10%) on MacBooks, iPads, and other Apple accessories to college educators and home school teachers.
Verizon - Verizon Wireless offers discounted monthly fees on select Unlimited Wireless and Fios plans. You must provide your valid work email address and pay stub to verify eligibility.
AT&T - They offer teacher discounts on monthly phone service plans through the AT&T Signature Discount Program. Employee ID or school email is required.
Health and Wellness:
It is no secret that this year is one of the hardest yet for educators. These discounts are a surefire hit when we just need to find a way to de-stress and stay healthy.
Calm -This website and app is awesome for in-class mindfulness, as well as programs for you! You can sign up and use their product for free as an educator.
Headspace - Another great website and app for mindfulness is Headspace. K-12 educators, administrators, and staff members of any school or university are eligible for a free Headspace membership. Register using your .edu email address.
Thrive Market - One of our FAVORITE shopping sites for groceries and supplements. Teachers can apply for a free ThriveMarket membership to receive 25-50% off organic groceries.
